Why is my Metronet Internet Service Often Having Slow and Intermittent problem ?
1). Restart the router device first.
2). Perform a "PING" test to the router device via CMD / Command Prompt application.
Like the following example :
- 1. Click "Start".
- 2. Write CMD Command on column "Search Programs and Files".
- 3. Click CMD.exe
a. To find out the IP address of the Router by typing command "IPCONFIG" in CMD, it will be visible in the line default gateway of the IP address of the Router you are using.
b. Perform a test ping toward IP Gateway is continuously by typing command "PING(spasi)192.168.240.1(spasi)-t" As an example :
Note : If the latency / time of 1 ~ 10 ms is still in a reasonable stage, if above the number & RTO there is a probable due to high usage or can be checked again wireless frequencies & lan cable used. If there are difficulties contact the Customer Care Biznet at : 1500988.
3). If all PING tests on the Router are running well and still slow please to attach trace route / tracert results to any local or international access such as :
Note : Tracert / traceroute results can be emailed to Customer Care Biznet at email address : firstname.lastname@example.org , with inform your customer Biznet ID.
